Links
Most search engines do not follow
fancy, moving, dynamic site menus, as these often inadvertently
block search engines from crawling pages deep within your website.
The most search engine friendly form of linking is text links. Whilst
it can be extremely challenging to include them in professional
website designs, they are almost always a component of the high-ranking
websites.
Navigation
If you use an advanced menu system, you can allow search engines
to crawl the rest of the pages within your site by adding some HTML
hyperlinks to the home page that lead to the pages inside. Search
engines will find them and follow them. These are often placed towards
the bottom of the page to further assist users once they have read
the page’s content.
Site map
Consider making a site map page with text links to every page within
your website. Some people like to submit this page to the search
engines to enable a ‘deep crawl’ of their site; so all
pages can be quickly and easily indexed when crawled by the spiders.
Internal –
keywords
It’s wise to have a lot of text hyperlinks that link to other
pages within your site. For even better results, try to use your
keywords and key-phrases for these actual links. If you link to
different pages from within your site, you will also increase the
odds that search engines will follow links and find all of your
website.
